Meet the Founders
Chelsey Nelson
Wine Educator, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Chelsey holds a WSET Level 2 qualification and a background in events and hospitality. She brings years of experience from her work growing her alter ego - Wino on a Budget - into a trusted voice for approachable wine education for a global wine community.

She leads her events with warmth, storytelling, and a belief that good wine should never come with pretence, only good company, curiosity, and a full glass.
Aiden Moir
Wine enthusiast, Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer
With a background in ICT, Aiden keeps Australian Cellar Society technology running smoothly behind the scenes and brings a deep enthusiasm for discovery.

This not only includes discovering new international grape varietals, winemaking techniques and regional history, but also the technology that enhances our website, events and the overall guest experience.
Our Story
At the Australian Cellar Society, our story is one of exploration, curiosity, and a shared passion for wine.
Together, we have travelled through wine regions across Australia, South America, North America, and Europe, learning from producers, sommeliers, and winemakers along the way.

Those experiences inspired us to create a space where anyone can enjoy wine in a relaxed, social setting without the pretence. Our tastings bring that global perspective home to Brisbane, connecting people through good wine, good conversation, and a genuine love of discovery.
